Why you should choose us as your makeup trainer?
We are aware there are many providers of Makeup Classes in Singapore. We are different because we are trained and possess skills and experience not just in Beauty Makeup and Hairstyling, but also Makeup Effects and Prosthetic Productions. Both Jieyi and Rezani are trained by Professional Makeup Artists from Hollywood. Most of the materials we use are obtained directly from the same suppliers that provide supplies to Hollywood movies and TV series such as Resident Evil and Walking Dead.
Being Makeup Effects Artists let us gain a better understanding of human anatomy and colour theory. We are trained in flexibility of handling tools and materials. These knowledge, experience and skills are helpful in guiding our clients and students to use the proper tools and makeup to achieve the look they are after as economical as possible.
The classes we conduct are very personalised. Once booking is confirmed, a questionnaire will be sent to all participants. We will ask you for details about your skin tone / type, regular makeup habits and knowledge you want to gain out of attending this lesson. On the day of the lesson, we will prepare products / tools that is personalised for your use.
Our aim is to ensure that once you have attended our lesson, you will gain as much knowledge as possible in makeup application and products available in the market. For those who are willing to share and let us use your before & after photographs for our marketing purpose, a SURPRISE token of appreciation will be given. When we say before and after looks, we meant it as your look with makeup before you attend our class and your look with makeup after you attend our class.

Who should attend?
This class is suitable for anyone to:
- to give away as a gift. A nice personal Gift-Card can be arranged.
- learn how to use all the makeup stash they already own.
- identify what to buy to create a certain look.
- know how to further enhance makeup application to achieve flawless look.
What happen after I made payment?
Once you have made payment, a questionnaire will be sent to you so we can understand better you facial features, skin tone / type and the problems you face with makeup applications. Please complete this questionnaire and email us a recent photograph of yourself (frontal view). Using this information, we will prepare the course materials according to your expectation and objective of attending our class.
One week before the class, we will send you an email that will provide you with a brief of what to expect at the class so you can get prepared in advance.
Do I need to prepare or bring any products?
For classroom-based classes, products and tools will be included. Nevertheless, you are encouraged to bring along your current makeup for the trainers to advise you how to best use them.
For online classes, it will be good to have your own products ready. We will send you a list of items you may want to prepare before the class starts.
Group bookings & private session.

I have an E-Gift Card. What are the terms & conditions?
The following are the terms and conditions of the E-Gift Card:
1. The E-Gift Card is valid for 6 months from date of issue
2. No refunds are permitted with respect to the E-Card.
3. If you have lost the E-Card, please use the invoice as proof of purchase.
4. Schedule for all makeup classes is subject to availability of makeup trainer.
Why attend?
We are aware that there are many places providing complimentary makeup lessons. However, most are conducted by the cosmetic brand and skincare professionals. For our classes, we are not representing any brand hence our opinion on the products we use at our classes are based on our hands-on experience in using these products on our clients. We also tested these products on ourselves. What we love, we share – we are providing this class on the basis of ‘sharing is caring’.
During the makeup class.
Maximum number of participants for the class is 10. Training will be step by step so it will be easy for participants to follow the procedures. Feel free to ask any questions along the way.

What products are used?
JR Makeup Class provides a good range of quality products for the classes. The products are from different brands including Make Up For Ever, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Fenty Beauty, Tarte, etc.
May I change the date once I have booked to attend a class?
Yes you may. If the change is made one month before the class, you will only need to pay an extra 20% of the course fee. If the change is made two weeks before the class, you will have to pay an additional 50% of the course fees. No changes are allowed two weeks before the class. Change in class appointment is subjected to availability.
What is the class size for public class?
The classroom-based size ranges from 6 to 10 pax. We will study the participants’ needs and requirements prior to the session and will decide on number of trainers to assign for each class.
For online classes, maximum participants will be 20.
Refund policy.
Due to the COVID-19 situation, should you be unwell or unable to attend the class due to health reasons after making payment, you may defer attending for up to 6 months from the date of the class.
